Holiday Looks

Even though holiday season can be, family, money…there is nothing we love more than a chance to get all dressed up and sip some cocktails. And let’s face it, our opportunities to do this are pretty few and far between. This season we are taking full advantage of the fact that we are not pregnant and really doing it up with some of this season’s best trends. Nothing says holiday like velvet, ruffles and sparkles.

So even though we aren’t exactly out on the town this season in our holiday best, there’s nothing better than getting together with family and reminding ourselves about all we have to be grateful for this year. And it definitely helps that we get to spend Christmas Eve together with all those that we love. Check out some of our fave head-to-toe looks below. Happy Holidays!

MB’s Fave Look: The Velvet Midi

Outfit details: skirt- A New Day for Target // boots-old, similar here // top-old, similar here // denim jacket-Old Navy

I’m sooooo happy that velvet everything is back in style.  Like George Castanza before me, I would drape myself in velvet if it were socially acceptable.  When I saw this skirt at Target, I knew it was meant to be.  I dressed it up here for our Christmas card photo shoot, but our actual family dinner is slightly more casual, so I plan to tone down the shiny glory with a denim jacket and tee.

Other velvet dreams:

Erinn’s fave look: Ruffles and Tights

Outfit Details: Flirty Dress: Who What Wear//Tights-A New Day for Target//Heels-Who What Wear//Belt-old, similar here

I love the holidays because I can go all out. There really are few times in my life anymore when I get the chance to dress up like this, so my favorite look this season is combination of everything I’ve been dying to bust out of my closet…all at once! I love the flirty ruffles on this dress and I cannot resist a fun tight. These shoes add just a touch of color and they play up another one of our favorites-velvet.
